Description

Spondyloarthritis is a characteristic autoimmune disease predominantly in males causing low back pain with early morning stiffness, improving with activity and worsening at night or immediately after waking up from rest. Delay in treatment causes fusion of spine and hence called as Ankylosing spondylitis. It can occur either primarily or secondarily in patients with psoriasis and inflammatory bowel syndrome.
